November 21, 2024 — The Lupus Research Alliance and clinical research affiliate, Lupus Therapeutics, are excited to present highlights of the ACR Convergence 2024 conference, featuring the latest research, updates for clinical practices, and recent advances in lupus.
Learn about the much-anticipated ACR guideline on lupus nephritis (lupus-related kidney disease), including recommendations for early detection, regular monitoring and a “triple therapy” strategy to preserve kidney function and prevent long-term damage. An update on the 2012 edition, the guideline includes for the first time specific recommendations for children with lupus nephritis, in addition to adults.
Other highlights from the meeting include the most recent clinical care and trials reports, including promising data from pivotal clinical trials and studies investigating innovative treatments like CAR T cell therapies, and new strategies for better clinical trial recruitment and conduct.
