Our warmest appreciation goes to the Lupus and Allied Diseases Association, Inc. (LADA) for their donation of $150,000 to support research funded by the Lupus Research Alliance (LRA).

LADA President & CEO Kathleen A. Arntsen (center) presented the check at the organization’s 24th Annual Lupus Charity Golf Classic on August 15th. Receiving the generous contribution were LRA executives Jonathan Marks, Dorey Neilinger,  Albert Roy, and Ian Kirkman (left to right).

With this latest contribution, LADA has provided $1.28 million in support to LRA research over the past 24 years. The LRA is proud of our long-time relationship with an organization such as LADA that believes as strongly as we do in the power of research and brings the community’s voice to the forefront.

“As a national patient-led organization we believe wholeheartedly in investing in quality research here at LADA and are honored to have funded the LRA’s groundbreaking and proven research since 2001,” said Kathleen A. Arntsen, President & CEO, Lupus and Allied Diseases Association, Inc. “Research is our beacon of hope, guiding us through the stormy seas of lupus.”
