Virtual Advocate for Lupus

Join Us on the Hill March 20 as a Virtual Advocate for Lupus!

Congress will be seeing purple next week when advocates representing the Lupus Research Alliance visit them Tuesday March 20 to convey why we need more funds for lupus research.

We are proud to continue our March Hill Day tradition started by our legacy organization, the Lupus Research Institute, over a decade ago. Having always included our Research and Advocacy Partners for a day of training on key lupus issues followed by a day of meetings with their legislators, the meeting has grown to include independent lupus advocates from across the country.

But with your help from home, every member of Congress can learn about lupus! Please go online Tuesday March 20th and use the automated tools of our Legislative Action Center to tell legislators your own lupus story. No matter where you are, you can be heard loud and clear by email or phone. The more voices Congress hears, the more they will care!

Meanwhile, here’s tips from our lobbying experts on how to get legislators to listen and act!
